Prince Albert is situated in the Great Karoo in the Western Cape Province of South Africa.  Just 72km from Oudtshoorn over the majestic Swartberg Mountains, or 88km through the awe-inspiring route of Meringspoort and the beautiful Prince Albert Valley.  Prince Albert is a delightful South African village in the Karoo.  Although situated in an arid region, Prince Albert is blessed with water from the Swartberg Mountains and the village is a little oasis.
